Crawford County residents are set to have more opportunities for safely storing their valuable items. Bucyrus Storage Complex is celebrating their grand opening with a ribbon cutting later this week.

Jim Manos purchased the storage facility, located at 1850 Marion Road in Bucyrus, and has worked diligently to turn it into a state-of-the-art storage location.

“It’s going to be a very safe place,” Manos said. “We take pride in security and safety and surveillance. It’s going to be a safe space to store your belongings.”

The facility is set to have about 200 units, 50 of which will have climate control capabilities. Thirty-two of the 200 units will be flex space, or large, 10-by-32 units used for tradesmen. One building on the property will have drive-through options that will keep clients out of the Ohio rain; the building will contain roughly 70 units.

Manos said they are already planning to expand the services they offer by installing RV, boat, and car ports for safe storage.

“We’re here to make sure you receive the right size self-storage unit for your household or business needs,” according to their website. “Our customers enjoy reasonable rates and flexible terms!”

Originally from Ashland, Ohio, the businessman and financial analyst owns four storage facilities across Ohio and owns a number of properties in downtown Delaware, Ohio. His wife has roots in Crawford County, having grown up in Bucyrus.

The Bucyrus Storage Complex is partnering with the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce to celebrate their grand opening on Wednesday, March 8. Festivities begin with a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. All are welcome.
