WEEKLY UPDATE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Submission must be made by a Chamber member; all membership dues must be current.
  • Images watermarked by an entity other than the submitter or that the Chamber finds to be copyrighted by another entity will not be used. An acceptable copyright free alternative will be found or no image will be included. Repeated submission of copyrighted content and/or images will result in member’s submissions being rejected.
  • Images should be large (at least 900 pixels wide) and submitted as high resolution jpg or png files.
  • Flyers or posters may be submitted as PDFs , however submissions will be converted or recreated as images where appropriate for the publication.
  • Please include any links (including Facebook page or event) for the image, if not included in the submission text.
  • Submissions may be business OR community related and should be of general interest to our membership. Submissions that are solely advertisements are acceptable, but will be limited by member and frequency and may be omitted entirely at the discretion of the Chamber.
  • Examples of submission topics: events, open houses, promotions, milestones, special sales, website launches, etc.
  • Submissions may be edited for space and/or clarity, and may be delayed or omitted entirely at the discretion of the Chamber.
  • Event submissions made in advance will run each week leading up to the event, SPACE PERMITTING.
  • Event submissions made at least five days in advance of the event will also be listed on the Chamber website.
  • The Weekly Update is published on Wednesday or Thursday each week. Submissions made by close of business on Monday will be included in that week’s update. The Chamber reserves the right to adjust the deadline and publication dates as appropriate.
