Become a Chamber Elf! Adopt-A-Child for Christmas!
Each Christmas, the staff at Crawford County Job & Family Services works to provide a happy holiday season for each of the children in their foster care system, as well as for children receiving preventative services from the agency.
Because of the number of children in care and some scaling back by regular donors, there is an overwhelming need for assistance this year. ALL OF THE DONATIONS GO TO CHILDREN IN NEED IN CRAWFORD COUNTY.
Many of our Chamber members are already regular supporters of the program, adopting one or more children every year. (See our Awesome Elf Roster below.) If you haven’t participated before, please consider helping to make Christmas brighter for our community’s children this year.
Businesses (and individuals) can opt to “adopt” one or more children, and will receive a wish list to help with shopping. A spending limit of $100 per child is suggested. You can also opt to donate gift cards – older children in the system receive $100 Walmart gift cards so they can shop for themselves.
If you can only donate one or two gifts, or want to pair with another business in adopting a child, please give us a call at the Chamber and we’ll get you matched up.
